Song for JLP

Ever heard of 'The Gun Club'? I hadn't till recently. His singer, writer and front-man has been an inspiration for many musicians, who some way or another have gotten in touch with the melancholic moods of the early 80's. His coarse vocals and irreverent lyrics motivated another Musical Genius into writing a master piece. I chose to tab the latter's work instead.

Now, my interpretation of the tribute song for JLP by Noir Desir as recorded in their 1996 album 666.667 Club:

VERSE: Em - G - D - Em
What I feel
Tear is in my heart
You're looking in the eye of a devil's well

What I hear
Tear is in my mind
Looking in the eye of a devil's well

BRIDGE: C - Em - C - G - D - Em
Where did you go, son of a been
Why follow on this like a river's stream
You're beating in the heat of hell

VERSE:
What I feel
A tear is in my mind
You're looking in the eye of a devil's well

What I hear
This tear is in my mind
Looking in the eye of a devil's well

BRIDGE:
Where did you go, son of a been
Why follow on this like a river's stream
You're beating in the heat of hell

Why follow on this like a river's stream
You're beating in the heat of hell
You're beating in the heat of hell
You're beating in the heat of hell
